Clifton Hodges Munroe

"Texas songwriters, Andrew Thomas Walton and Clifton Hodges Munroe first crossed paths at a house concert in Wylie, TX. Both were performing in the showcase and wound up in a jam together after the event. It was then the decision was made to join forces and support each other musically. Several months after that encounter bassist Don Hankinson and drummer Keith Brown who were already performing with Clifton as Munroe & Co were brought into the fold, rounding out the sound which some describe as alt-country. Since that beginning, Walton Munroe has been delivering what the band likes to call New American music "lone star style" to North Texas audiences everywhere. Walton Munroe is strong story telling blended with catchy hooks and awesome vocals."
